Random:  Got a call from Sara last week.  She was making Martha a lemon meringue pie for her birthday.  Had been through two dozen egg whites trying unsuccessfully to get them to stiffen into glossy peaks.  First she called Darrell, "Darrell, do you know how to make meringue."  Darrell:  "Isn't that beaten egg whites and cottage cheese?"  Yikes.
